Unlike other farms, 5ELS use no antibiotics, no hormones and no growth implants. Our beef and beefalo cattle are raised on grass pastures as it would be in nature.

5ELS grazing system allows us to be more resilient during the times of climate change. High quality soils can hold greater amounts of water which allow us to receive large amounts of rain fall without the erosion of our soil. Our plants are then allowed to access this bank of moisture through extended dry periods. Summarized, roots build high quality soil which then in return results in pure water quality. Our soil is vastly benefited by our cattle in a variety of ways including erosion control, nutrient cycling, water quality and soil building.
